Who We Are
About Bohr Electronics, an Alderman Enterprises company, has been an in-cab electronics industry leader since 1957. In April 2022, we acquired K&L Electronics, an aftermarket repair business in Searcy, AR, to increase manufacturing capacity. In March 2024, we purchased the assets and intellectual property of Central Railway MFG (CRM), manufacturers of custom USA-made onboard and wayside electronic equipment with an emphasis on data gathering, recording, networking, and communication. Bohr Electronics specializes in manufacturing and engineering legacy locomotive electronics, mechanical, and electromechanical parts and components and data and reporting devices. Based in Chattanooga, TN, with a production facility in Searcy, AR, we serve Class I, regional, shortline, and passenger rail.
