Who We Are
Bohr Electronics, an Alderman Enterprises company, has been a leader in the in-cab electronics industry since 1957.
In April 2022, we acquired K&L Electronics, an aftermarket repair business based in Searcy, AR, to expand our manufacturing capacity. In March 2024, we purchased the assets and intellectual property of Central Railway MFG (CRM).
Our CRM products are custom-built onboard and wayside data management devices for data gathering, recording, networking, and communication. They help rail operators modernize their fleets, optimize performance, and meet evolving data and compliance requirements.
Bohr Electronics specializes in the repair of legacy locomotive electronics, mechanical, and electromechanical parts and components, as well as data and reporting devices. We extend the lifecycles of legacy equipment, enhancing sustainability, reducing environmental impact, and stopping obsolescence in its tracks.
Based in Chattanooga, TN, with a production facility in Searcy, AR, we proudly serve Class I, regional, shortline, and passenger rail.
